About Dr. Tayyab Mohyuddin :
Dr. Tayyab Mohyuddin graduated from King Edward medical college with honors . He did his internal medicine residency from Case Western Reserve University ( Metro health ) in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. He did his cardiology training at University of Texas in Houston, where he completed cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowships. He did his interventional training with Dr. Richard Smalling, who is a nationally renowned interventional cardiologist. Tayyab also had the opportunity to learn cardiac nuclear imaging from Dr. K. Lance Gould, who is the pioneer of this technology.
He has five American board certifications including internal medicine , cardiology , interventional cardiology , echocardiography and nuclear cardiology .
He also worked as Assistant Professor at Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and currently have a clinical Assistant Professor appointment with University of Texas at Houston. He is very active in research and has been published in several peer reviewed journals .He practiced for several years in USA before returning back to his native city of Lahore .
Dr Tayyab Mohyuddin is an accomplished cardiologist and brings with him wealth of cardiology expertise and experience. He is currently practicing at National Hospital & Medical Center, DHA, Lahore . He is practicing general cardiology as well as performing coronary & peripheral interventions . He is also Associate Professor of Cardiology at Central Park Medical College , Lahore where he is actively participating in post graduate and medical student teaching .
