Prof. Jaida Manzoor is Pediatric Endocrinologist at The Children's Hospital, University of Child Health Sciences, Lahore, serving the institute since 2002.She is one of the pioneers in developing Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes in Pakistan and has established a premier national unit in this field providing services to children from all over the country. Her apportioned efforts help in recognition and accreditation of 2nd fellowship and MD program Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes in Pakistan. She has been given the additional charge of Director ORIC, Office of Research, Innovation, Commercialization and Clinical Trial Unit in UCHS Lahore. She has pride to have renowned international collaborations: Imperial College of London UK, ULM University Germany, Lausanne university, Switzerland. She has high impact publications in index journals, mostly on genetic obesity and ongoing genetic Diabetes research in children, Pakistan. She has been the founder member and first Vice President of Society of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes in Pakistan. She has been trained as Assessor/Inspector by PHC for delivering Minimum Service Delivery. Standards MSDS in Punjab, Pakistan and contributed to licensing the public and private hospitals. She is nominated as assessor/inspector by DRAP in licensing clinical trial site in public & private hospitals.
