Prof. Jaida Manzoor is a Consultant Paediatric Endocrinologist at The Children's Hospital, University of Child Health Sciences, Lahore, serving since 2002. A pioneer of Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes in Pakistan, she established the country’s premier national unit in the field. She played a key role in the accreditation of the second fellowship and MD programme in Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes. She currently serves as Director, ORIC – Office of Research, Innovation, Commercialisation, and Clinical Trial Unit – at UCHS, Lahore.
She maintains international collaborations with Imperial College London, Ulm University, Germany, and the University of Lausanne, Switzerland, and has high-impact publications on genetic obesity and diabetes in children. A founder member and first Vice President of the Society of Paediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes in Pakistan, she is also a PHC and DRAP nominated Assessor/Inspector for hospital and clinical trial site licensing.
