About Dr. Faryal Yunus:

Dr. Faryal Yunus is an Assistant Professor in Medical Microbiology and a Consultant Medical Microbiologist. She has a wide range of experience of working in multidisciplinary environments in Academia and Clinical Diagnostics. She is a Fellow of CPSP with specialization in Medical Microbiology. She obtained second position in clinical fellowship exam. In addition, she has M.Phil degree in Medical Microbiology . She is a certified BLS and ACLS provider. She also has Infection Prevention & Control Certification by the WHO. She is currently completing requirements for FCPS Microbiology supervisor. Dr Faryal has published widely in her field, developed research collaboration with a research institute in Europe, and has also presented her work at various scientific congresses. Her clinical and research areas of interest are Bacteriology, Infection Prevention & Control, and Antimicrobial Stewardship.
