About Dr. Mujtaba Chaudhry:
Dr. Mujtaba Chaudhry is an American trained Nephrologist and Hypertension Specialist. He completed M.B.,B.S. from King Edward Medical University in Pakistan with distinction. He won numerous scholarships most notably the Meritorious Scholarship and the President National Talent Scholarship (Honoured BY THE President of Pakistan). He was awarded the Outstanding Graduating Scholar Award during Internal Medicine Residency and Top Nephrologist Award for the year 2017 in USA. Dr. Mujtaba completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in New Jersey. He won a Research Competition organized by the American College of Physicians. Dr. Mujtaba later went on to complete his Fellowship in Nephrology at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center where he was elected as the youngest Chief Fellow. He was Transplant Nephrology Fellow at St. Barnabas Medical Center (America’s top 3 Renal Transplant Center in Living Donors). He presented numerous research papers and delivered lectures in International Conferences. His interview which was based on a unique phosphorous binder “Chitosan” was published in the American Journal of Kidney Diseases. Dr. Mujtaba is Diplomate American Boards of Internal Medicine and Nephrology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP) and a Fellow of the American Society of Nephrology (FASN). He additionally graduated in Medical Humanities from Drew University, New Jersey USA. He worked as a Consultant Nephrologist in Albany NY USA and Medical Director at Fresenius Kidney Care, Saratoga Springs for over 6 years before returning to Pakistan in 2021. He is visiting Clinical Assistant Professor at the Albany Medical College, New York USA.
